The AFSD is present in the CSOs landscape as a research center and consulting/advisory agency with a particular focus on local, regional and international sustainable development. We provide research and advisory throughout all stages of project cycle, ex-ante and ex-post assessments on policies and programs and regulatory frameworks

⦁ Capacity building and training programs We focus on knowledge development, knowledge transfer, skills development and practice in the implementation of SDGs, providing tools and guidance for strategy, operations, and monitoring.
⦁ Research and advocacy, to support analysis and review of existing and upcoming policies, create best practices in the areas of institutional capacities and leadership needed to reach sustainable development objectives.
⦁ Strategic development, to provide institutions in the public and private sectors with tools, methodologies and outputs, in order to better address the complexity of cross-sectoral policies and activities

Founders and Core Team
“Mr. Astrit Hado is an experienced economist and social inclusion professional, promoting excellence in social security policy and administration. He has more than 25 years of progressively responsible experience in pension administration and management, alongside experience in public administration, public services management, financial management, standards development, digitalisation of public services etc. He is an expert of pension fund management and social securities, and one of the top players in the pension reform carried out during 2014-2015 in Albania.”
“Mr. Remzi Keco is an agrarian economist, with more than 30 years of experience in agricultural economics, rural development, sector-specific management, public administration and strategic and project management. He counts on a combination of experiences as a teaching professor for almost 20 years’, of first-hand experience in the sector and as a researcher in topics such as SME development, agriculture clusters, rural development, agriculture land management, wine industry development, profitability of agriculture sector, consumer behaviour for agriculture products, agriculture market development etc.”
“Mr. Ilir Tomorri is an agrarian economist with more than 30 years of work experience in agriculture, rural economic development, and access to finance, public administration, project management, and enterprise management and accounting. He has initiated his career in the private sector, focused on financial management and access to finance at the Agriculture Commercial Bank, Albtelecom sha, and Albanian Saving and Credit Union. After almost 20 years in the private sector, at the intersection of agriculture and banking, Mr. Tomorri has pursued an academic career. “
